I often drop by this site for a look and a read, sometimes I even post replies.

However I think that a vote of thanks should go to Wagolynn. He gives encouragement and advice to many posters who drop by. Many are asking questions that already have been answered but he patiently explains and personalises it for them. Often he replies when others can’t be bothered (I include myself here). I know how I found this site comforting when I first developed kidney problems. Now that I’ve moved on I feel guilty that I don’t help as much as I could.

So on behalf of many scared, bewildered and lonely posters - Thank you Wagolynn.

I concur, I do wish the site was used a bit more generally, I remember when I first joined when I went onto dialysis in 2014 and it seemed such a busy board, not so much nowadays but I guess FB groups etc may be used a little more?

Yes, I've been using this site and many other PHPBB's since 2007 and nearly all of them have now fallen by the wayside because of things like FB. I'm glad we still exist though! <3
