Kidney Patient Guide website updates

Post by administrator »

Hi Everyone,

We are hoping to do some updates to the site soon as we want the site to be made accessible to everyone.

One thing we are working on at the moment is to remake the animations in another format than flash as not everyone can see them and they can be very useful.

One suggestion we have received is having a text version of the animations to explain the process shown so its accessible for people with visual impairments.

If you have any other suggestions on improvements we can make please let us know.

Many thanks

Hi everyone,

We are continuing to update the site and are now in the process of updating the security it. If possible we please check out the site via the below link, and if you come across anything that doesn't quite look right or if a certain page doesn't work please let us know.

We have tested it at our end and so far so good, but the more eyes on this the better!

Thank you for your patience with the updates, hopefully we will have a fully functioning site in 2020!

Wishing you all a very happy holiday.

Thanks
Jodie

Hello everyone!

As a next step in our site update we have turned off the old animations which were run on the now outdated flashplayer and replaced them with a modern format. They should look almost the same as before. We will keep working on them to add improvements but in the meantime please let us know if you notice anything not working. I am adding a list of links so you don't need to search for them if you want to take a look:
