It sounds as though your PD bags contain glucose, there are alternatives, and it may be worth asking your nephrologists if the PD nurse cannot help. More information on the NKF website.

It may be worth trying eating before you drink. My GP suggested this and it helped me... Apparently, liquid, on its own in the stomach promotes vomiting, if you already feel sick.
