Re: Bilateral Renal Parenchymal Disease
It just means I'm surprised. Since my kidney problem is 'only' related to protein in the urine, my levels of creatinine are very low compared to yours - in fact, mostly in the 'normal' reference values.

Re: Bilateral Renal Parenchymal Disease
urine protein 370 is not a lot, just little protein leaking. unless 370g Yep. But I don't think it's 370g per liter... My urine protein is currently 3.19 grams per liter, which is a lot less than the almost 12 grams per liter that I leaked before I started therapy. What's the most you guys have had...

Oh I'm only on 50mg the first week, then 37, 25, the following two weeks, I'm just finishing the 50 week tomorrow.. I'll stay on 12.5 then for four months perhaps tapering after that. The initial high dose is just to try and smash things into order while the tacrolimus levels come up. Do all you gu...

Re: Bone Density.
Yea, in about 2001,my GP noted that i had been on prednisolone for 20 years and asked if i'd had a bone scan. In the preceding three or four years i had broken, my ribs (each side), elbow and little finger. The TX unit had never suggested one, which in hindsight was clearly a mistake. I had one don...

Re: can take enalapil or loosartan with creatinine 205
Hi there, I agree with wagolynn. Talk to your nephrologist about it. I don't know about Loosartan, but I currently take 10 mg enalapril per day, ordered/suggested by my nephrologists (I have nephrotic syndrome caused by membranous glomeruloneprithis). Enalapril does not cure kidney conditions, but l...

Re: What caused your kidney disease?
Well my kidneys have held up relitivly well despite having Kimuras disease, it's a rare disease that less than one in 10,000,000 people get. It causes many different kinds of kidney damage which seems different in every case, but all kinds like those mentioned above are within its powers. Good new ...

Re: suggestion... how about introducing ourselves??
Hiya. I'm 46 yo, male. I have nephrotic syndrome caused by MGN secondary to KD (wich is this rare thing: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kimura%27s_disease ). I was diagnosed with KD about 18 years ago, and it has primarily caused benign tumours on my upper back during the years. Then last year, at ...
