The consultant has made an appointment for me to see the Specialist Renal Nurse on Monday to help talk me through a lot of what is going to happen . I will tell her about the forum and how supportive you all are too

Hi

Stent has been removed! I had a little local anaesthetic gel and the nurse got it out . She said because I had cancelled the removal the stent was a little hard to grasp . I did feel something but it wasn't pain .

I feel quite brave and touch now * proud face *

Hi . Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas ? Mine was ok ish

I wanted to know if anyone knew how I go about changing my consultant? Is there a protocol I need to follow or can I just ring up and tell his secretary?

Don't tell your other half you compared a stent removal to childbirth!!! She will be annoyed!!

On another note - I'm not having the stent done...and if consultant asks why I shall show him this post :shock:
